SwingLDN began as a university assignment, but we enjoyed it so much we wanted to continue it and bring it to the masses! We saw the potential for a youthful magazine focused on expression, colour and nostalgia.
We know what it is like to read a magazine and not relate to it in the slightest; it can almost seem pointless when the shopping pages are full of things you love that are way outside of your price range. We want SwingLDN to help you be your expressive, fashionable selves no matter your income.
It seemed crucial for it to reflect everything we feel strongly about: sustainability, expression, fashion and sexual liberation among many other things.
SwingLDN aspires to be ethical, colourful and full of things we hope you will enjoy reading. We also plan to shine a light on independent businesses and the best local vintage shops to give you a break from the constant bombardment of fast fashion you may have endured at the hands of other magazines.
We want you to read this magazine and feel not only understood but also inspired as we are first and foremost fashion students therefore expect art, poetry, films, astrology and pop culture features.
SwingLDN is a reflection of the current zeitgeist in London - it is liberating, inclusive and exciting.
